We offer all levels of SPRAT Certification both with Hybrid and In Person Courses.
JOB SPECIFIC ROPE ACCESS SKILLS
4 Day rope access course focusing on basic skills to access and complete basic work task
- Description 32 hour Rope Safety training for job specific skils. For intro into rope systems, simple task (descent and ascent only), simple anchors and rigging. Recommended for all first time rope practitioners (zero experience), safety officers, or workers who require a minimum training to work in a rope access system supported by a rope supervisor such as inspectors, welders, painters, etc.
- Equipment: Personal PPE kit is required for each man. Team equipment will be provided. Up to 15% discount on equipment purchases with this course. Rental equipment is $250 per kit per man.
- Duration allow up to 10 hours/day. ARS recommends this course to be 25% classroom, and 75% practical (on jobsite if possible or other suitable location similar to work being performed.
- Location Phoenix site or at your facility (instructor travel and accommodation not included for off site courses)
- Quantity 1-6 per instructor, (additional instructor required for classes larger than 6 men)
- Certificate details BEST choice for companies looking for training with certificate for work. ARS Certificate for Rope Access Job Site Skills meets the requirements of SPRAT, and OSHA safety for worker training requirements. Certificate shows safety competence for working at heights. If instructor feels more time is needed for the worker to grasp/ be competent on a particular skill, ARS may request an additional day at NO COST to CLIENT. If further training is required for more technical work, then additional courses may be recommended.
- Price begins at: $975 for minimum of 4 men, $795 each additional above 4. Max 12 men per course.
ROPE ACCESS AWARENESS
1 Day course covering the basics of rope access
- Description This course is designed to provide a base understanding of rope access work, safety requirements, procedures, equipment used in a rope access system and compliance with regulatory authorities such as OSHA. This course is ideal for safety officers who may be overseeing a project involving a rope access scope. Managment of a rope access team, assessment of new recruits; or those requiring a basic knowlege of rope access policy, safety and procedures before hiring a rope access team for a particular job.
- Duration up to 8 hours; theory and practical

SPRAT ROPE ACCESS ALL LEVELS
8 Day SPRAT Certification Course: 7 days training + 1 day evaluation
- Description Society of Professional Rope Access Technician (SPRAT) certification training. The training course is 7 consecutive days with an 8th day SPRAT evaluation. The intesive 7 day training completely prepares the candidate with all the practical and theoretical knowledge to be certified as a SPRAT Level 1,2 or 3. All SPRAT Documents are covered, rope access theory (knots, anchors, pulleys, equipment, etc), and practical skills required to pass a SPRAT exam. The course will focus on the SPRAT requirements and prepare candidates for the evaluation. Ideal for those new to SPRAT, or upgrading to the next level.
- Equipment All courses requires personal equipment for each candidate (rope access kit). Rental kit available at $ 550 per kit per man per course. If company provides a specific kit, it is best the candidate trains on the equipment they will use at the job site,
- Duration allow up to 10 hours/day. This course is 20% classroom/ theory and 80% practical. Custom schedule available.
- Location ARS site available, site fees vary from location to location. Inquire about locations available. Can train at companies site at request.
- Quantity: minimum of 4 candidates up to 12, 8 participants per evaluation. Second Evaluation required for more than 8 candidates.

SPRAT ROPE ACCESS ALL LEVELS (ACCELERATED)
5 Day Accelerated SPRAT Certification Course: 4 days training + 1 day evaluation
- Description SPRAT Certification course for all levels. This course is ideal for those who are familiar with SPRAT, recertifying, upgrading; or can commit personal study time outside the class to learn and understand the SPRAT standards and required documents. The accelerated course focus on the SPRAT Practical requirements to pass the exam and focuses little time on the theory and SPRAT documents. Students are expected to study before hand or in the class off hours. In the 4 days we will cover all aspects of the evaluation in an intense 40 hour training.
- Equipment All courses requires personal equipment for each candidate (rope access kit). Rental kit available at $ 550 per kit per man per course. If company provides a specific kit, it is best the candidate trains on the equipment they will use at the job site,
- Duration allow up to 10 hours/day. This course is 10% classroom/ theory and 90% practical.

ROPE ACCESS ADVANCE TRAINING
6 Day intensive rope access course
- Description This course goes beyond the SPRAT rope access training. In this 6 day advance course, participants will learn higher level skills, techniques, and theory that are practical in the real world. Advanced knots, compound and complex pulleys, Artificial High Directionals (AZ Vortex), advanced rope rigging for work and rescue, rescue techniques, multi system operation and more. ARS has a specific format however, each class is customized to the goals of the group and their industry of practice.
- Equipment Personal equipment is required for each man. Team equipment will be provided. Rental is available at request, 15% discount on equipment purchases with this course
- Duration Allow up to 10 hours/day. ARS recommends this course to be 25% classroom, and 75% practical (on jobsite if possible or other suitable location similar to work being performed.
