Summary
Dow Chemical Sadara needed an inspection of one of their silos.. Instead of taking the time to build costly scaffolding to do the inspection, ARS used Rope Access to provide a detailed inspection for Dow Chemical Sadara.
Scope and Method
ARS was hired to inspect a silo at Dow Chemical Sadara. For the inspection, ARS used high angle horizontal lines to create a safety structure to raise and lower inspectors on and in the silo. ARS used high angle lines around the top of the silo to lower and raise workers completing the tasks at hand.
Conclusion
ARS completed the Dow Chemical Sadara Silo Inspection job using Rope Access only. No costly cranes, manlifts or scaffolding was needed.
